Solar Energy can be easily defined as energy from the sun. This term is primarily used to classify the electromagnetic radiation emitted from the sun which is then captured by the Earth. This is the earth’s most enduring and dependable source of energy.
Weather systems and the ocean currents are controlled by solar energy. These days even cars can be driven by using solar energy.
Most governments now use solar energy as their main source to power things such as satellites and even the space shuttles.
There are currently two types of solar energy. One which is called Electric Energy and the other is called Thermal Energy.
Electric energy is commonly known as electricity. This is our most widely used forms of energy. Electric energy uses the sunlight to power ordinary electrical equipment.
Thermal energy is known as kinetic energy. This thermal energy is everywhere. The earth gets hot and from thermal energy. This form of energy is also known as heat energy, it is stored in the center of the earth.
Solar energy levels are not as strong in some areas of the world. You must consider the geographical location as well as the current season. You must consider this for the mere reason that depending on where the sun is, it would determine how strong the rays would be which would then be converted to solar energy.

Solar Power
I thought a doubt, solar energy has vastly become a part of the future. Solar energy fabrication is a tremendously simple process to comprehend. A solar, or photovoltaic, cell gathers energy from the Sun. The solar cell is a semiconductor mechanism that is constructed using photovoltaic materials. It does not contain liquids or chemicals, and has zero moving parts. These solar cells alter sunlight into electricity.
A solar panel commonly consists of a sequence of individual cells, which are then supported by a module; this module will allow the cells to work in unison. Energy is captured by the panel which is then stored within a battery. Solar panels produce direct current (DC) energy. Most of the new solar energy systems now have inverters within them. These inverters allow direct current (DC) electricity to be converted to alternating current (AC) electricity. Consumer products most often use AC electricity for appliances and electronics.
Unfortunately most people are unable to power their full home by solar energy or solar panels. In order to do this, you would need to have a very large area of land. It is however reasonable that one could power one or two rooms of their home by solar power. You would need to calculate the amount of wattage your rooms would need, to calculate how many solar panels you would need.
The typical price to begin converting your home or rooms to solar power can typically be calculated by price per watt. The normal price per watt is approximately $11.00 at the time of this article. Generally you would assume the cost to do one room, would be somewhere in the range of $900 to $1400.
The great thing about using solar energy is that is is one of the few true renewable resources of energy available today. Think about it this way, each day, the sun covers the planet with enough renewable energy to sustain the globe for one full year.
With photovoltaic energy technology advancing in leaps and bounds, it will be hard to avoid the reality of converting to solar power energy. Currently major companies such as the oil industry are committed to the research and development of renewable solar energy and solar energy technology.
